Hello! I'm Lindsay.
I am a successful entrepreneur and business owner, foodie, avid fan of the Portland Trailblazers, and mom to one kiddo, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 bunnies, and 5 chickens.
I moved from Los Angeles to Portland in early 2008. During my time in LA, I worked for an independent record label as a booking agent, marketing coordinator, and event planner - booking national tours and throwing SXSW showcases. Over time, however, I became disenchanted with the hustle of LA and moved to Portland to seek a quieter life. I took a job in marketing for an academic publishing company, and started a food blog on the side. (RIP Rosemarried) I immersed myself in the Portland culinary scene, and quickly fell in love with everything about the city of Portland (especially the food!).
in 2014, I took a risk and quit my job and founded founded Strannigan & Sons and I been providing social media strategy and influencer management for businesses in the Portland area ever since. My current roster of clients includes Smith Teamaker, Wilderton Botanical Spirits, Suttle Lodge, Lauretta Jean's Bakery, Waterfront Blues Festival, East Glisan Pizza, and Aria Gin. Strannigan & Sons also offers the following services: content creation, copywriting, influencer events and strategy, social media classes and audits, and digital marketing consulting.
Throughout my career, I have produced a myriad of events, spanning the spectrum from intimate gatherings to grand-scale productions. I have produced events for Union/Pine, Feast Portland, Tillamook, Jacobsen Salt Co., Whole Foods, Uncle Nearest Whiskey, Taste Washington, Merit Badge, Stumptown Coffee Roasters, and more.
I have a passion for social justice and civic engagement and I volunteer for many local non-profits in my spare time. I have served on steering committees for various fundraising galas, and have done fundraising and/or volunteer work for IRCO, RIHO, Cultivate Initiatives, The Partnership for Safety and Justice, Oregon Food Bank, and more. I am currently the board president for All Saints Episcopal church, and is helping to oversee a major remodel and expansion of the Woodstock Food Pantry.
